      Upper management is good, middle management is bad

      Customer Service is all about cliques, total favoritism. Lots of people don't have any education, hence the mindset.

      Pros

      Encouraged to learn and do things independently. People are friendly. Company culture and values are easy going.

      Cons

      Less challenge on technical development which leads to less to learn about. Training system is chaotic. Difficult for an entry level to start with.

      Pros

      Georg Fischer is a great place to work and there are good opportunities for development if you are willing to apply yourself. There is good work-life balance and as long as you do your job and do it well people won't complain. I am grateful to be surrounded by a very talented group of people, some new hires and some who have been around since the beginning of time it would seem, which creates a good balance of new, innovative ideas and sound knowledge that comes only with experience.

      Cons

      With a number of operations across the world and the United States, it seems at times that each entity is pulling in different directions and communication between the different facilities is disjointed, especially with a lot of newer acquisitions. Senior management could be a bit more transparent as sometimes big decisions are made that seem to come out of the blue.
