Pros
Generous leave policy. Fantastic tuition policy: 95+% discount on academic programs if you're full time; 50% off for spouses and children. Location - if you're in Foggy Bottom.
Cons
GW has a culture of indifference. There's not much cooperation between the various business units, and there's a serious disconnect between them, so getting any real, meaningful cooperation can be a challenge. There are some groups that are great to work with, but they're few and far between. It's a generally dysfunctional place. Pay is not competitive with private sector. Everything moves very slowly.
