      Pros

      I worked for my professor and most of my work need connection with students. I like working in school since most time I can only focus on what I want and nothing else.

      Cons

      The salary was fairly low, well, it was a part time job and I was not rely on that income.

      Pros

      Opportunity to make a difference, and demonstrate professionalism. Promotions from within happen, but HR makes it a challenge.

      Cons

      many numeric demands that detract from the job at hand. Can be difficult to find a mentor.

      Pros

      CPS offers its professional staff a great deal of latitude to do your job as you see fit. You must produce desired results - but there is not an autocratic this is how we do it philosophy -- which is very refreshing

      Cons

      In a laissez faire environment - it is difficult to get resources or support when you need as your manager is not always current with your needs and challenges. It is incumbent on you to speak up - in the appropriate channels - to get help.
