The interim superintendent is supposed to be a lawyer and you can tell that is true in his most recent email to staff where staff are told they can now log off at 4:00 every day versus the 5:00 previous schedule. So now staff are allowed to work from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. but the caveat is that they must have completed all of their job duties before signing off, which is an almost impossible task for most employees! Therefore, for the most part, staff will not be signing off at 4:00 p.m..
District Academics Director is highly unorganized and lacks the necessary skills to do better. This causes a terrible trickle-down effect of scrambling at the last minute to make sure curriculum is prepared and ready for students. Delays in academic calendars coming out. Miscommunications regarding interim assessments. The list goes on!
