Pros

You can do very well in this company through individual performance going above and beyond expectations, so long as you are good at promoting yourself.

Cons

Mismatch and misuse of MBM vs reality. Claims to be advantaged due to the management philosophy and focus on innovation, but not sure that they really outperform their competition, either because the philosophy does not provide a real advantage or lack of execution according to the philosophy. Most likely the latter. Too much emphasis on financial models vs. the value that people can create, leading to people not feeling valued.

Pros

MBM guidelines are great, although most successful companies have similar way philosophies. Perks - onsite gym (not very modern) and onsite daycare (at market rate). Also nice to have onsite minute clinic, small cvs pharmacy, and dry cleaners.

Cons

Compensation starts off good vs market, but you hardly ever see a raise even with solid performance reviews. Benefits are not great (medical is expensive and has little converge). Parking rates are very high. Building is outdated, although a remodel is coming (supposedly). The challenge process only works top down (rarely bottom up). Management selectively practices MBM. At a senior leadership level, people get moved around a lot, but below that level... You're basically stuck. No career growth support. No recognition for good work. Very little flexibility with work schedule, still vey much about being seen at your desk instead of being able to leverage technology. A lot of duplicative work in silos. Very little collaboration.

Pros

There are some smart people who come in with a wealth of knowledge from previous employers.

Cons

A very selfish culture that does not value its employees and is fine with letting them leave after three years (fully vetted). No raises, few and cheap bonuses, value only measured in dollar and cents. They are truly in a commodity business.
