Pros

You have 40 paid hours of training to become a RBT Owner/Founder is super responsive and kind Wonderful clients

Cons

Pay was low. Extremely disorganized. During my time at Get Social!, I was scheduled at one clients house only to find out that the scheduler didn't update my schedule (changed at the last minute) and I was scheduled to the wrong client. The trainer was ridiculous. She put us in a room and started destroying a classroom, pushing things over and mimicking like a child. No prior instruction was given. Additionally, I felt extremely unprepared for every client I saw. I felt under trained and hopeless. I was let go due to attendance, but I'm glad I got out of there.

playing with kids, helpful team members, being able to help out in social skills group

Cons

getting sick often from working with children, not having the same lunch break schedule as my co-workers, sometimes hard to keep energy up for a whole day

Pros

GST provided me with lots of great learning experiences. I learned much more than just ABA training techniques. I do not work in ABA anymore but the people and soft skills I learned from my supervisors at GST has helped me in my new career. Supervisors always pushed me to do my best. They were always there if I needed help or guidance. BCBAs and BCs spent a lot of time with me in the field and helped me build my confidence. I know my work there made a positive impact on the children I served

Cons

Scheduling changes. Children make great progress and get dismissed, parents change their child's availability, kids get sick. I know it comes with the business and is no fault of GST but I always wanted my calendar to stay the same for a longer period of time.
