Had a good run

Pros

It was a very creative place at one time. There were new ideas in all areas of the business. There was lots of good energy and optimism. If you performed well, you were often promoted and encouraged to try new things. It felt like being with the best.

Cons

Not many. I think Getty is really struggling with a changing industry. Through no major fault of it's own or the people, it's being forced to make some tough decisions about the future. I don't think the company will ever regain its luster. The folks in upper management seem to know that too. We often got the sense that some upper management had checked out and were just waiting to go with certain areas of the ship.
