Pros
Discounts on store brands; schedule flexibility; most of the employees are nice; free uniforms; can transfer to different departments within a store or to another store entirely if you choose.
Cons
MANAGEMENT. Other than the department leads, most of the managers at the stores at which I've worked couldn't find their butts with both hands. I definitely do not understand the logic of the "Group Leads" (Fresh, Grocery, etc.) If these postions are in place to provide a buffer between the department leads and the store manager, what the *&#A@ is the store manager and his/her assistant manager doing? I would love to be paid $60k to walk around all day telling people what they're doing wrong, when I have no idea what they're supposed to be doing in the first place...then go sit in the cafe and "do paperwork." Yeah, right. SERIOUS lack of communication. No info. on benefits unless you nag the holy crap out of someone.
