A roller coaster as of late.

Pros

Co-workers are friendly; almost like a second family. You learn a lot about customer service. A unionized workplace, so your job is protected for the most part. One of the cleanest stores I've worked in!

Cons

Hours currently being cut severely, meat departments are frantic with the new pre-pack system they're implementing. Extremely, if not impossible to be full time now - more so any career growth. No sick time off; you get "personal holidays" which come few and far between and you get an earful and a guilt trip if you attempt to use it if you are indeed sick. Union contracts seem to be getting worse every passing contract.
