Pros

People are very friendly, helpful, cooperative, nice work environment, everybody is working hard and cares about what he/she does, there are also some previous employees come back to work for Gibson, Ginson's business has increased tremendously in recent years, it's a upbeat company, great potential.

Cons

Haven't found yet. Management cares about feedback from employees, they took feedback seriously, really don't have anything negative to say.

Thank you for your review, it means a lot to us. Many people don't realize, the average tenure at Gibson is quite long. We have many team members that have worked at Gibson for 20+ years! And we have a number of employees working into their "retirement" years. We think that says a lot. Together, we accomplish amazing things, thank you!

Good place to work, but some people need to go.

Pros

The majority of the employees here are friendly and make it easier to get through your day. The work load is pretty heavy and fast paced, which I like. Most co-workers are readily available if you have questions or require assistance in your daily projects. Other pros: • You get a pay check every other week. • Large company with a lot of employees. • The company is established and has been in business for 37 years so it is pretty stable.

Cons

No 401k matching or profit sharing. There are some people who "work" here that should not be here. If you are bad at your job simply because you are lazy or unwilling to put in the time, make sure that your actions do not adversely affect other departments. One mistake can often have a chain reaction that wastes a lot of time. Hire managers from within the company who have thorough knowledge and experience in what they are supposed to be managing. Employees should not have to train their managers on how to manage them. There is a learning curve, but certain situations that negatively impact the workload of employees can be avoided with the use of common sense and making sure information is correct and complete before assigning projects. Communication is key. "I don't know" is not a good answer.
