Pros

With Product at Gigster, every pod feels like a small startup, tackling tomorrows problems today. And if the tools don't exist yet to solve those problems, you can build them.

Cons

The company is growing fast that there isn't often time to solidify tactics or iterate, but then again, shipped is better than perfect.

Pros

- very bright and interesting co-workers - my personality fits well with the direct culture - leadership does a good job of keeping the company mission clear and keeping all team members engaged with how they can create impact towards the key goals of the company - growing the design team - catered lunch and dinner every day

Cons

- if you don’t fit with the direct and high achieving culture then this might not be a good place for you - normal growing start-up friction points as they learn how to scale (ex. too many people for the current office so its a little cramped and new office isn’t done being remodeled till March)

Pros

It’s been a pleasure to work at Gigster! The in-house design team is very small which allows us to delve into a variety of projects across all teams. There are a lot of opportunities to ask questions and grow within your role. Sharing skills and continuing to build your knowledge of design tools, understanding of tech innovations, etc. is reinforced by in-house presentations/tutorials. Through project collabs and regularly scheduled team/company outings, it is also very easy to get to know everyone in the office and feel part of the larger collective and vision for Gigster.

Cons

The company is growing rapidly and meeting rooms/office is tight. They are setting up satellite offices before moving to a new location soon.
