Pros

- You can quickly get into a position to impact how coders collaborate around the world - GitHub's culture is very understanding that different people work best in different situations, and oftentimes have family obligations - A rapidly growing company where there is still the opportunity to move up (unlike at Google / Facebook)

Cons

- Having an ongoing CEO search always give a cloud of ambiguity, but it seems like there is some good movement on that front - Whenever an organization undergoes culture change, there are bound to be people who prefer the old culture
