      Pros

      - Best remote asynchronous work environment I've seen - Well organized onboarding - Work is interesting and my colleagues are a pleasure to work with - The company actually puts meaningful effort into upholding its values (publicly accessible in the handbook)

      Cons

      - Compensation is good but I've gotten better offers elsewhere - My health benefits were better with my previous employer (a small company)

      Pros

      Honestly, I have never worked with a company that practices what they preach as much as GitLab. I was honestly skeptical at first as promises of "Transparency," "People First," and "Company Culture" are typically more hollow aspirations than reality, but GitLab backs up what they claim. It's like buying something off of Amazon because the reviews are great and, when it shows up, it's exactly what you were hoping for. It's rare, but it happens.

      Quick and Professional Process Very friendly and approachable team Open and Transparent Big focus on values and ethics

      Cons

      Compensation could be higher in this marketplace but they are looking at that. Also creating Ireland as an entity in coming down the lines which is a great move!
