Cons

It might be difficult to predict how scaling will affect culture given that these inflection points are unknown until they arrive.

Pros

Incredibly focused on culture and values. Transparent beyond belief. Supportive of iterative learning & production. Very flexible and supportive environment. Completely remote with appropriate tools to foster collaboration (slack). Overall, very positive environment.

Cons

GitLab tool is used for almost everything...including marketing content, so there's a big learning curve for a non techie and much time spent trying to accomplish things in a one size fits all enviro. Also, some growing pains...company is quickly growing and, as can be expected, some people and processes aren't ready to scale just yet.
