      Pros

      I'm very new to GitLab but I'm nothing but impressed so far. Here are some of my Pros for working at GitLab: - Full-time Remote (Done Right) - Competitive Salaries - Good Benefits including funds for setting up your remote workspace or co-working space. - Work-life balance

      Cons

      Hard to speak about cons since I just started but the distributed nature of the teams, across time zones, will take some getting used to. I love the idea though so it's not much of a con.

      Thanks so much for sharing your experience so far, and welcome to GitLab! You bring up an important point -- being part of a global team certainly has its challenges. But since we're an all-remote company, we document everything, and we can work asynchronously, you may find that collaborating across time zones comes more naturally than you'd think.

      - Transparency is unmatched - Great benefits package - Remote work only, built into the company and culture - Solid set of core values that is clearly lived by each person in the organization - and much more

      - Haven't found much in the way of cons yet, will update if I run into any!

      Pros

      Strong shared product vision Full Remote is the future of work Having all employees use GitLab internally is great for productivity as well as "Drinking your own wine"

      Cons

      Not necessarily a con, but the company is growing at light speed, so lots of new people joining every week
