Pros
Science here is fantastic because everyone is so open to collaboration. The science is high caliber! Also, there are lots of resources, support for grant writing and submission, & great benefits. Also, the Gladstone has a very active Postdoc Advisory Group that organizes seminars for career development and professional skills like networking and presentation skills. Really makes the entire training well rounded.
Cons
Facilities support can be unresponsive at times. When equipment needed to be fixed or replaced, they would either show up without announcement, or take a very long time to respond. The facilities people themselves are generally helpful and friendly. Mix of very old and very new equipment. Overall, mild complaints though.
