Pros

I can't see any due to performance review policy.

Cons

Due to company engineers' performance estimation policy new enginners don't have enouth time to learn the product through day by day work and they becomes part of the company performance review programme. Both Backend and Fronted are huge legacy code and in addition the logic is complex. New workers are being estimated by the mentioned above from the day one. In case the developer's code delivery takes more than it was planned/estimated a developer can find him self in the way out situation because he/she are part of the estimation review programme.

Pros

nothing at all. realy bad company

Cons

They like to stress and are always not happy with you. You can't take one day off spontaneously, it's met with angry faces about how you didn't think to notify in advance. People are afraid to take sick days even when they are really sick, even during the Corona period. Unlawfully dismissed. There is no understanding regarding parents who have to take their children out of kindergarten

Pros

They paid a salary, it was just about liveable

Cons

don't believe all the positive reviews, there was period of time (look at when most reviews came in) that the company ran a competition whereby we were asked to submit positive reviews and provide proof of this in order to win a prize if your team all did this. The company is led by deluded individuals, and if you aren't based in IL, forget about them acknowledging you even exist unless you're one of their gullible employees willing to work 24/7, their training when they took over SessionCam actually quoted how their best employees were willing to work any time of the day and day of the week!

Thank you for your honest feedback. We value every comment as it plays a crucial role in our ongoing efforts to improve. We are sorry to learn that your experience did not meet the expectations we strive to set for our team environment. Regarding the campaign you mentioned, our intention was to encourage authentic feedback from our employees; we never aimed to solicit positive reviews. The ask from employees was to provide honest feedback that will not be traced back to the employee in any way. We acknowledge your concerns and will revisit our approach to such initiatives to make sure this sentiment is not felt by others as well. We are also troubled to hear about the feelings of disconnection expressed by our global team members. It is our priority to ensure that every employee, no matter their location, feels valued and integral to our operations. We are actively enhancing our communication and management practices to close any gaps. Additionally, regarding the working hours, promoting an "all hours" work culture was never our goal. We are committed to maintaining a healthy work-life balance and will review our training materials and communications to prevent any future misunderstandings. We are thankful for the chance to address these issues. We invite you to discuss this further and share more about how we can continue to improve. Please reach out to our HR team directly at hr@glassbox.com. Thank you once again for your perspective. Hila, CHRO, Glassbox
