Pros

Lots of interesting and varied technology to work with Genuine opportunities for promotion and career growth Many talented and supportive people within the tech teams Very little micromanagement; I felt trusted to deliver my work Large and varied workload, so it’s not a place where you’ll feel bored Recognition and visibility from higher management for good performance

Cons

Like many tech companies, redundancies have created a feeling of low job security A race to the bottom on initial capital expenditure with technology vendors; cheaper solutions often cost more long-term in support and issues Lack of transparency around company changes, with staff sometimes being let go without communication to the wider business
