      Pros

      At Glide it is not only a work place it is a friendly positive environment where great opportunities occur. Not like other work places progression is always encouraged and ideas are never considered to small to run with. I personally enjoy working here as I have made some great friends and really enjoy working in a team. I also like seeing the business develop, working here for over 2 years now I have watched the business develop both in sales and service. I have enjoyed helping with the progression of the business and being allowed to have the freedom to create my own ideas which will help towards the service we provide to our customers. Glide has enabled me to develop my personal strengths and progress within my role.

      Glide review after 8 years

      Pros

      I have been with Glide for 8 years; it has been a roller coaster ride but hugely enjoyable and rewarding. The passion, drive and entrepreneurial nature of the company has not diminished since I joined in 2009 when there were just 4 staff in the Glide team. The early years were stressful with long hours to keep on top of customer work flows, however, as the company has expanded to 60 staff, everything has become smoother for customer and staff. The work / life balance is spot on now. The major plus of the company is the young dynamic team, many of who have become firm friends outside of work. There are some real characters who work here and I find myself laughing out loud at least once a day!

      Cons

      No major negatives for me, but I guess more of a challenge. The company hit a large growth target recently and completed an internal Glide review to improve processes and install systems you would normally find at large corporates. We need to keep doing this, but we must make sure we remember our entrepreneurial beginnings.
