Pros

Great medical and vacation benefits friendly HR department, great owners to work for. The Noc is a great asset to the company

Cons

Poor management in the Vsat department. Could never get a hold of them on the phone. They did not know what the job was gonna be nor did they seem to care when sending us on a job. The dispatch did not want to be bothered by his employees

Sometimes it can feel like a family working there. Some upper management takes time to talk with there employees and they try to make GDS a better place to work.

Cons

Pay. Management. Safety. Incentive. GDS has always and will always be a stepping stone company. Come in and get your experience and move on to bigger and better things. Zero career path.

Friendly low tier staff that were easy to relate to.

Cons

The company as a whole doesn't care for your well-being, they will overwork you for below average pay per the average of the position. Assign you to things that are out of the scope of the original job description. Once they have no more use for you expect to be completely cut out of their consideration.
