Pros

Some of the best people I've ever worked with. Lots of talent, will to win, and impressive application of intelligence. The potential playing field is almost limitless, and opportunities to learn are plentiful. Benefits are good. Pays better than just about anything else in the area. Good working environment with a good cafeteria. The right fab management is finally in place. My manager was most excellent and much respected.

Cons

Unfortunately the frequency of management turnover has not been beneficial to ramp success. The main investor has lost confidence. Now, fab leadership's only recourse is to make the business work in a down-market, while producing technologic yields that prove production viability. Advice to employees: Take the energy you're putting into whining and use it to improve yield. It's not just about you. It's about the life of the business, and convincing the investor that this business can win BIG. Sanjay and Tom need you. Give them your support!

Pros

The technology worked with is cutting edge and the environment is intellectually stimulating. The pay and benefits are good, and the relocation package is superior.

Cons

There is an excess of meetings scheduled during the day; it was not uncommon to be scheduled for multiple meetings at the same time with different groups. There is a cumbersome sign-off loop requirement for running tests and/or requesting slots in PCRB (process change review board) meetings; the only way to guarantee a sign-off in a reasonable amount of time is to "stalk" stake-holders to sign-off. There is an excessive amount of cross-group politics at play that makes it difficult to depend on other groups for support in a reasonable amount of time.

Pros

Very diverse workplace. Great pay and benefits. State of the art facilities.

Cons

Seems as if some resources are being used inefficiently; money being thrown around towards things that are unnecessary or that go unused.
