Our LMS system, Cornerstone, has many classes on supply-chain management, sales and logistics you may find helpful. Also, please attend the company Town Halls, presented by our CEO and ask your manager about any of the information you hear and don’t understand. Asking questions is the best way to learn. Freight and logistics is a fast-paced, ever-changing industry and there are many busy times throughout the year. We are glad that you recognize that there are plenty of opportunities for you to move into greater roles as you improve your knowledge and gain experience in the industry. GlobalTranz wishes to promote from within, and all open positions are posted internally for five days to give internal applicants the first opportunity to apply. We encourage you to check out open our positions and look out for opportunities to grow in your career. It is disheartening, however, to hear you feel that your manager is unavailable to assist you. I strongly encourage you to reach out directly to them when you need assistance – they may not realize that you need more coaching. Also, turn to others in your department for assistance or the head of your department. You may always also reach out to People Operations for advice on what to do in these situations.
