Pros

-Downtown and suburb offices. -Free lunch every day but same 5 places on rotation. -Casual dress. -On site gym

Cons

-Required to work 10 hour days. Timesheet when I get paid only says 8 hours. -Favoritism is rampant. It's the only way to move up. -PTO is terrible. The problem is that sick days and vacation times are combined. A day at home sick is not a vacation. I never take a day off when I'm sick because of this, yet everyone tells me to take a day off so as not to spread it. Until they separate it, I'm coming in. -Carrier sales are never at fault for anything. Move all that blame to operations and LCs. -Carrier sales managers micromanage people outside their department. I'd get emails sent directly to me complaining I wasn't working hard enough or fast enough and questioning everything I did. -Manager was good until a person on the team quit and 1 account got busy. Haven't had a one on one meeting or even a check-in in several months. -Toxic environment. Have to specifically mention which employee a loss goes against instead of against the entire team. Competitions between co-workers on the same team when we should be working together to achieve goals. -Higher account management gets commission for loads but the day-to-day workers who track and do the work get nothing but the low base pay. -Bonuses are 1-2% max. -Pay is extremely low for the hours you put in. -Company sold, now branded as Globaltranz. The company felt scummy before but even more now. I get a general sense that employees are viewed as numbers instead of people and the high turnover is key. Why pay people more when you can just get new people to work for low pay? Lie to your customers if you have to, as long as it makes money. I'm surprised I've lasted this long though everyday I'm here I find myself saying "I hate this job" multiple times. Looking to completely leave the industry and take a different career route. Getting out as fast as I can. Literally dreaming of the day I get to say, "I quit."

Pros

Absolutely not a single thing positive about this place

Cons

Very frightening how much turnover in the C suite and in the HR department in the last couple years!!! They fire people OVER and OVER... Do yourself a favor and run for the hills before coming to work at this place! Just read all the reviews! Enough said...I am looking to get out and quick!

We understand it is difficult to see turnover in upper management and HR, but just like with every position, finding the right people is important. The People and Culture department are an intricate part of the company and feel one of our best features is our customer service we offer our employees. We are always looking for ways to improve, provide opportunities for employees to grow and make coming to work an enjoyable experience. If you are interested, I would like to schedule a time for us to discuss your concerns and ways you feel GlobalTranz could improve. Pros

For the most part it was a GREAT atmosphere. Friendly, family feeling to it. Management was decent to work for. Except one manager who went out of his way to train you. Would dedicate hours to work one on one with anyone, or a group of people to help you reach your full potential. He made the place seem not just a job, but a career. Somewhere you were proud to go to and tell people where you were employed. The morale was OUTSTANDING. It was always uplifting, and he made you want to put in 110%. Not just for him, but he made you want to do it for yourself and the Company. The pay was not to bad in the beginning, with his help, he had you making good commissions in no time. I was proud to work here. After he left, the place went downhill fast. Cant believe I stuck it out after he was gone.

Cons

Do NOT get hurt , or go out on medical leave of FMLA. Everyone who did was quickly weeded out. Corporate only cared about numbers. If you were not there you wern't producing. They say its your book of business. How quickly that changes when you are out for any amount of time due to sickness, injury, or personal family matters. They will give your book away, and escort you out the door on your return. Pay structure changed so many times. They always said it would be for the Agents benefit. It never was. Super high turnover. Became a hostile environment shortly after the loss of my manager. Micromanagement is unbearable. Some times it was suffocating. Had to force myself to get up every morning to go in.
