Pros

Co-workers put up with a lot of stuff from management together.

Cons

Confused management that is a revolving door. I had 4 managers in less than 1.5 years, all with a top down manager style driven by the CEO. Do as I say and don’t ask questions if you want to stay here. They don’t tell you this but it is required to work 60 hours a week to keep your job, look at the fine print in your employment letter.

Pros

Cool product. Nice line up of machines (good better best) good medical and work life balance. 401 k match is nice for a start up,

Cons

Executive leadership is so tactile and in the weeds. CEO approves every single social ad, line if copy price, promotion, software update, every single thing. Had an innovative product but decided to make no upgrades, attachments or focus on driving down COGs they let hundreds of competitors come in and take share. CEOs response to declining sales - raise prices. He won’t be truthful about product feature sets and people on my team leading others have zero marketing experience.

Pros

Great individual contributors, everyone works hard and tries to help each other out on projects.

Cons

There are so many cons, unfortunately. They start by talking about how the company is really going places. But unfortunately, that is just to get top employees to take pay cuts and positions lower than they should be. The CEO tries to run the company 24/7. All decisions go through him. Even speaking with everyone that gets a job offer. I thought this was cool until I found out that he only does this because he doesn't trust his managers to make the right hiring decisions. The made-up rules for how to get promoted and how your get title is given are laughable. Probably the worst is the lack of transparency and flat-out lies. The worst of which was the CEO telling the company they were "fundraising", except it was an acquisition. Unfortunately for a lot of employees that didn't go through and layoffs started.
