Pros

Of course you get flight benefits so do other airlines. You get this benefit with any other airlines. JUST DON'T DO WITH GOJET!

Cons

This company is a joke! Horrible management and disrespectful people to their employees. They are just a group of people who have zero idea about management and leadership. FAA needs to take a closer look on them. I do not recommended this place to anyone unless you are willing to let them treat you like you don't exist. You will find great airlines who treat you with respect and care about their workers. If you got invited to the training, do not quite your current job or have a back up plan because they might let you go without no explanation at any moment. They hired so many people and more than half got fired during training. And none of us made to a year. Do your research before getting yourself into this. Need to improve management and more hands on cabin training instead of lecturing for 6 weeks. Hire skilled and experienced people. Most management people who work their are nasty. I'm not saying this just to make this company look but they're truly horrible.

Pros

Nothing, really. I can only find cons with this airline. I have never been so unhappy working for someone in my entire life.

Cons

Ever since I got there for training, I've had issues with the airline. Setting up my account in order to get paid. You only get paid 18.00 an hour and it's only flight time meaning that if the ride is 2 hours, you only get paid for those two hours. They make you buy your own plane ticket for interviews and training even if they might kick you out after training. I got kicked out and out of the hotel immediately. I regret working for this company, they do not care for employees at all. Ever since the instructor knew about my ethnicity, she has been treating me rather odd such as ignoring my questions, acting as if I do not exist and making me feel bad for silly things. I wasted around 1,000 dollars in things I had to buy in order to be able to succeed in the career and they fired me within a week. They also said they were going to call the authorities on me if I stay a minute more in the lobby. They said they would only make a write-up for people when their phones would ring but in my case, they fired me. Another person's phone rang (in mid-class) and didn't get fired; yet I did. It was an overall bad experience. I would not wish this upon my worst enemy.

Homophobic

Pros

None, unless you love broken dreams by mean nasty ignorant people.

Cons

As a gay person who has worked in many different situations and environments, I have never in my life experienced such openly hostile hatred to gays like I did at GoJet. I thought that an airline would be the ONE environment where I could be open. I was totally wrong. The pilots in particular have a culture of homophobia and contempt for male FAs, and they wield tremendous influence in the company's overall culture. Gay jokes were made even during training. I was shocked and disgusted. I was treated with open disdain the entire time, and wondered why they had bothered to hire me if they hate gay male FAs. One female student admitted being a lesbian during class, and for no reason she was let go 2 days later. Management claimed she was insubordinate during class. What a disgusting company. I don't know what else to say. I endured the experience for 4 months as an FA before being fired like 90% of us. Not a single person from my class lasted more than 1 year. No matter how badly you wish to be an FA, don't start with this nasty unprofessional airline. You will regret it.
