Pros

High profile firm with interesting cases and smart lawyers.

Cons

As with any law firm there is a conflict over billable hours and paralegals usually have to do direct and indirect work for clients that they don't get credit for...which affects their salary and their perceived importance in the firm. No cross training with other divisions to promote continued learning of other areas of the law and thereby providing better value to the firm and their clients. Changes in management produced too many negative changes.

Pros

The culture is excellent (employees truly care for each other and the Firm takes very good care of everyone). I honestly enjoy coming to work even when days end on a tough note. The 401(k) benefit is very competitive for the legal field. Great support for the Technology Department and Human Resources. The new building is excellent (great cafe for lunch, fresh ground coffee--which is unheard of for a workplace, on-site gym, gorgeous view, just to name a few perks). Very charitable, philanthropic organization (involved in many causes, donations, and charities throughout the year). Very low turnover.

Cons

Traffic in and out of the building is terrible with all of the construction going on around the area. Some policies and changes can get bogged down and move slower than I would prefer. Some of the improvements in the building have proven to be a little short sighted. The insurance benefits are good, but could be better.
