Pros

Brand recognition, lots of locations, and plenty of members mean it's busy with opportunities, most gyms have generous operational hours

Cons

low pay, poor benefits, gym cares about money and not the employees, not a team environment, gold's doesn't get it

Pros

Good work experience to move to bigger gyms. It is a good place to start a training career, but I dont see long term growth with the company. There are better comensation plans at other gyms.

Cons

Compensation for personal trainers is set up to only benefit the gym. You are expected to hit monthly sales goals which is completely understandable, but there is no benefit to try and exceed those goals. The compensation is a flat percentage rate no matter what.
