Pros

The teens are engaging and have a chance to make more money than a lot of other positions out there. The owner is a great guy.

Cons

Being a small franchise they don't have the right person in for growing a company. The management team talks poorly about their employees -even calling them names behind their backs.

Pros

working with kids was fun and seeing how excited they were to learn something new. Shifts were only four hours long, you could work two in a day but there’s a significant time gap in between.

Cons

Four hour shifts aren’t very long but they are TERRIBLE for your skin and hair. Most girls I worked with including myself had hair breakage. But the very worst part (for me) was: kids would poop in the pool, pee in the pool and vomit in the pool. I had never gotten pink eye before working here but had it twice this summer. It is now January, I stopped working there in August and my skin issues have not cleared up! I have been to multiple doctors and dermatologists and am STILL having issues. The grossest part was that at the location I worked at, if they were able to get a small amount of vomit/poop out of the pool without anyone noticing, they wouldn’t shock the pool! I had a child vomit chunks in my class and they scooped it out the one of the baby toys and said to keep teaching. I have never been so disgusted at a workplace as I was here.

Pros

Working with kids is awesome Teaching is a great first job If you’re liked, you can excel career-wise

Cons

All about profit Parents are allowed to walk all over you Teaching staff is overworked No set guidelines for children’s progress Management was incredibly rude /singled people out and picked on them /spoke poorly of employees after they quit You do not get paid for all of your time
