Pros

- Understanding colleagues - True team camaraderie - Extreme transparency - Hiring/ raises/ promotions NOT impacted by COVID - Fair pay, unbeatable bonus structure

Cons

- Sometimes long hours (true in any client services industry, though) - Healthcare offering could be a bit more competitive - Culture can feel a bit hard to crack if you don't jump in and fully embrace getting involved/ to know the team from the get go

Lack leaders, no work/life balance

Pros

A great place to work in the beginning. Both the Founder and Co-Founder are amazing! They really care about you and are true leaders.

Cons

Good Apple lacks capable leaders. Seems to be luck of the draw with some teams having terrific leaders and other teams having leaders chosen or promoted for no good reason. HR seems incapable of making an impact even though they recognize the problems. Some managers are incredibly incapable and clueless. HR is totally oblivious to them and allows abuse of employees by these managers. For example, the CFO speak to most and especially her subordinate in a condescending tone and it's not right. The older veterans of the company act like they own the company, some of them come to work whenever they want. For some people, there's no room for advancement and you could be there for years without even getting a raise. At the end, there's really no work and life balance, because there is too much work to be done and not enough people to do it so you end up skipping your break and staying late for no thanks or recognition.

Pros

Great atmosphere in the office. We are growing but we still have that close knit family vibe. Also being a smaller company you are not restricted to a specific role, everyone has hands on different projects and roles which really helps you grow in your position.

Cons

Sometimes I feel we need better training for management since at times I can feel poorly managed, and also would like to have more training to improve my skills.
