Pros

Good Apple is an amazing place to work and grow. There is never a dull moment in the office, the works is challenging and will keep you on your toes, but it is also incredibly rewarding. Teams work hard and put a lot of thought and insight into every campaign. One thing that I truly loved about Good Apple is that every recommendation was based on data. And with the help of a strong analytics and reporting team, the agency was constantly innovating and thinking of new ways to improve upon their offerings.

Cons

Formal training did not really exist when I started the job. While this can be frustrating to some new hires, I found that it allowed me to keep an open mind and excel in the areas that most interested me and at a very quick pace. Employees that are able to hit the ground running, and learn on the job will do well.

Small agency and hard to compete with hold cos

Pros

The people and culture here is truly amazing. Everyone cares about each other and really does feel warm and exciting to come to work with your best friends.

Cons

Management changes their minds on how to deal with situations every other day. Gossip spreads quickly due to nature of a young employee base and everyone being friends. Losing business and hard to grow with holding cos as competitions. Some teams are overworked while others are begging for things to do. Delegation is not great. Pendulum between leadership overly transparent and getting a lot of opinions from the employees to being secretive and leaving the entire company in the dark gives me whiplash. You literally never know what is going to happen next or when a change might be enacted.

Thanks for your review. we really appreciate you taking the time to share honest feedback. Building a company is messy and imperfect, and I’m committed to doing better: improving consistency, reducing gossip, winning new business, competing with the holding companies, balancing workloads, and trusting our teams to deliver great work. We know we don’t always get it right, but we care deeply about making this a place where people can grow and do their best work. As for knowing what’s coming next, we all want a crystal ball. But we’ve learned that the quality of life and business often comes down to how much uncertainty we can handle. We’ll keep showing up, learning, and working hard to make GA stronger every day. Thank you for all that you do - it means a lot.
