Pros

unlimited PTO, you can suck at your job and still probably won't get fired

Cons

Constant change, restructuring, and layoffs trying to correct what seems to be a mess that the former CEO made. The culture there incentivizes and praises average work - outside of the beloved consultancy Overline, no other teams are really innovating, curious, or pushing to do the best work of their careers. If you're even a C+ marketer, it's likely you'll be the smartest person on your team and won't learn from anyone around you.

Pros

Goodway Group really tries. They are very intentional and employee-driven, which I loved. Sometimes it was a bit too much, like every meeting everyone taking a turn to talk through their "failures" that week, but I get the why behind it. So many fun company events, both in person and remote. I feel the work we did was impactful and important to the company. My boss was so amazing, and in hindsight I didn't realize how much she set me up for success by learning from her. I now model my leadership opportunities after what she did, and I'm sooo appreciative for that experience. Looking back, this was the most healthy and supportive work atmosphere I've experienced in my 10 professional years working.

Cons

While the work was impactful, sometimes it was a bit mind-numbing (but I was in a role that wasn't as creative as I'd hoped for). My biggest issue was the lack of growth opportunity within your role. I think I heard rumors that they were working on some sort of "career ladder" type framework, but with how trendy Goodway is, I was hoping a little less corporate and more "I recognize your worth and want to keep you as an employee, so here's a title change." For me, if I'm not growing in a role/company every year or two, then I'm out. While my experience was great because I had an extremely passionate, caring, intelligent, and intentional boss, it sounds like that's not the case for everyone from department to department. There were more rumors about people being suddenly fired, and some of the reasons why coming out didn't sound like the culture Goodway brags about (and was instead protecting subpar leaders).
