customers have interesting stories; ability to see unique/vintage objects through the donation processing.

Cons

Minimal vertical movement. I had been with the company for over 6 years, earned my Masters degree and was still told I did not have the experience necessary to be a shift supervisor...there were over 27 different management team members over 6 years so I was often more experienced than the management team. HIGH employee turnover. Let's not even talk about the fact that new hires were making the same or more money. 2 on the job concussions and never received workers compensation for either incident.

You get to meet and work with a diverse group of people that understand how difficult the job can be

Cons

The county you work in dictates the pay, $2-5 dollar difference doing the same job. Goodwill should standardize the pay evenly no matter the location.

Pros

Working here you will get in shape quick with all the trucks you will load and unload daily, but that's ok you get to see where the good stuff goes. Plus they have a sale for employees and people in their training classes to take part in. Great sale good stuff just not able to sale it in store.

Cons

Stealing! I watched several of my coworkers pocket things off the trucks and some of the upper management as well.
