Pros

The hours are great. The earliest you have to be there is 7:45 a.m. and the latest is 10:00p.m. They don't have the Christmas rush with awful hours, but they do have the Halloween rush with normal business hours.

Cons

The pay is on the low side. This company does too much micro managing and writing about every little incident in the computer. This takes a lot of time and takes you off the floor too much. You have to work really hard running the backroom and the front of the store when you are the only manager on duty.

Pros

Task/schedule autonomy, career development opportunities; salary; management's receptivity to new ideas and new programs. I learned a great deal there personally and professionally.

Cons

Workload was consistently unpredictable. Staff were either consistently really busy or doing lots of busy work. I don't blame management; its just the nature of the vocational rehab world. Morale also suffered at times because a couple of the managers severely lacked the interpersonal skills required to be effective managers.
