Pros

I like staying busy without a lot of pressure. Most of the customers are very friendly. You have some freedom in store presentation as long as you stay within certain parameters. Full time employees rarely work more than 40 hours. They do good things with their programs and you get to see it while working there.

Cons

Sundays are the busiest day of the week and under staffed, but we are understaffed most days. High turnover rate and bad management. Management is very much a popularity contest, and they gaslight and even harass their employees. The pay isn’t good, the benefits are expensive, and full time employees rarely work more than 40 hours a week. HR is a joke. They lose documents sent to them, they don’t take complaints seriously, and they refuse to fix or take months to fix a problem that was the company’s fault. They receive a grant for their TEO programs but their hours are still taken from the store budget and causes the non program employees to lose hours. We are reprimanded and wrote up if our round up percentage is too low.
