Environment was negative. Management in general was verbally abusive and regularly has his of rage. Management also played favoritism, requiring little to nothing of certain employees while being over bearing and critical of others with the same job responsibilities. Higher level management team was not supportive and did nothing to improve workplace morale.

Racist policies relating to stealing, and surveillance: something is missing from stock so lets suspend 3 black people who did nothing and then realize it was our broken inventory system; lets suspend a black guy for simply giving his friend a handshake because he could've possibly had drugs in his hand at the time. Vindictive, lying managers who brag about how much more money they make than you, unresponsive HR, no real benefits besides a discount on ordersfrom the company (make sure to use that for water as they do not supply drinking water). Every piece of technology in this "tech company" is busted and doesn't work right so you'll end up repeating your work over and over ad nauseum while the corporate overlords think you're not packing orders. Nothing at this warehouse is safe or clean and we regularly had staff getting bed bugs and illnesses from working in a building without proper cleaning or air filters. It took them 2 months to fix the bathroom door and they forgot a handle on one side, plus they'll never fix the app they built to the point that hackers stop forcing people to bag dozens of wrong orders a day. On top of everything here they will also toss thousands of dollars worth of produce and food away because they need to make room for new products, then threaten any of the people who try to collect the perfectly good food from the garbage. There's really no good reason to work here unless you're a driver because you don't really work for Gopuff at that point and they can't tell you what to do.
