Pros

Management makes a point of maintaining open channels of communication between levels of staff, and for suggestions from all staff for ways to eliminate repetitive / inefficient work patterns. Open communications re: billing, relationship developments with major payors, etc.

Cons

Lots of shuffling management staff between departments --> much retraining, reorientation, etc.

Patient Care aspect is nice.

Cons

Bullying of newer employees by seasoned employees. Newer employees have to adhere to attendance policy, but those who’ve been with the company longer do not. Parking is a nightmare with a 2 year wait to park close to hospital. Pro Park (Behind Gerig Group is scary, dark, & to far). <- Where you have to park. Doctors treat you better than most managers/supervisors/directors do. Low pay for just about every position from housekeeping on up.
