Pros

Great staff, supportive providers, plenty of supplies, helpful ancillary staff, easy to take PTO. Nice office culture.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations for workload/documentation with ‘homegrown’ EMR. Locum’s documentation is inadequate (copy & paste without modifying, hospital FU visits not documenting reason for hospital visit or progress/current status) but accepted because completed in a ‘timely’ fashion. Extremely high turnover of providers and some staff. No work-life balance.

Cons

Management does not listen to concerns regarding office staff or dangers. Low pay Toxic environment If you’re not willing to play the “yes man” you will be targeted. Ancillary staff practices medicine and management turns a blind eye when providers brings that to their attention. Understaffed - which staff is expected to work extra with no compensation. Low pay.

Management is far removed. Bonus is based on how many patients you see rather than the quality of care
