Pros

Salary ranges, benefits and Programs you can participate in

Cons

Management insecurities and ambiguities. Skip level is offered but well taken by lower management. Leadership not willing to give you the space to communicate but conclude from other's input only. You are not allowed to speak with HR for the smallest of questions. HRBP appear to be Director level only and are unavailable otherwise.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand your concerns regarding communication and accessibility to leadership and HR. Creating an environment where employees feel heard and supported is a priority for us, and your input helps us identify areas for improvement. What you’re describing is not how the employee experience should be; we encourage you to contact the HR leader directly to discuss further so we can understand the roadblock you’re facing to resolve the communication channels with HR. We’ll continue working to enhance transparency and ensure employees have the resources they need.

Pros

- Opportunity to gain experience supporting large federal contracts and modernization projects. - Many talented colleagues who are collaborative, supportive, and great to work with. - Remote work flexibility was a major benefit. - 401K match available (vesting schedule)

Cons

- Management often boxes employees into stagnant roles that don't match the expectations set during hiring, with initial promises of growth and mentorship quickly fading. - Annual review and pay raise process is inconsistent and disappointing. Raises minimal (2-3%), and performance evaluations are often skipped entirely in favor of across the board flat increases. - Bonuses are rare or nonexistent, and discussions about fixing the review process never materialized into improvements. - Leadership is cliquish and unapproachable. Concerns raised in team forums go unanswered or ignored. - Micromanagement is common in some areas, while in others, leadership is disengaged and fails to address poor performance or staffing issues. - Internal mobility and retention initiatives for contract transitions lack transparency and meaningful support. Off-boarding in particular was confusing with little meaningful communication even as contracts ended. - Client experience is a hit or miss. In my case, leadership did not advocate for the team and often withheld or downplayed information creating a culture of uncertainty and mistrust.
