Pros

Opportunity to help serve Veterans and those of the most deserving demographic. Remote working culture (this was the only reason why I stayed as long as I did).

Cons

Everything about GovCIO is a con, from the sub standard health insurance to the limited PTO, to the staff, leadership and meaningless townhall meetings where they boast about profit earnings which never funnel down to the employees. GovCIO pre-merger was a wonderful place to work, now it's an employees nightmare.

GovCIO, particularly the VETS sector, truly cares about their employees and goes the extra mile to ensure collaboration and show appreciation of work.

Cons

It's still working out company-wide policies after a merger which can make things confusing to understand where to go for what information.
