No hours

Pros

They do pay well per hour and pay includes planning time, travel time and extra for extra education. I actually enjoyed it very much when I had hours...of course you have rough students but I really enjoyed working with most of my students. And the one on one aspect of tutoring is very nice.

Cons

I have a very flexible schedule and can tutor many subjects but they just have no work. They charge families or non profits very high hourly fees...I know that is how we get good salaries but it's excessive. You need to either communicate with families when they contact you or get in touch with them and work out your plan and report it and many families opt not to start. Families also use the service for a month or less and then cut it. So it ends up being a lot of unpaid work to get miminal hours.
