Pros

Salary, benefits, training, technology, industry leader

Cons

High turnover in middle level management. Inconsistency in management styles. You MUST network to be promoted, this is more important than skill

Pros

They know how to sell a job, and most of the employees are great team players. Generous PTO compensation and benefits are above average.

Cons

Corporate seems to be lost when it comes to vision. They throw everything at a new idea, including elaborate training, then bail on the plan as soon as it doesn't work exactly as hoped. Emails sent to all employees about record profits the previous year were followed by announcements that profit sharing would be decreased in coming years. Announcements about sponsoring a race car were followed by announcements of branch closings and work force reduction at already strained branches. Resources are thrown at the sales teams at the expense of the branch employees that are actually doing the work.
