Pros

Used to be the leader in industrial, safety, and fasteners in Canada. Most of the below corporate-management people were great to work with.

Cons

Acklands-Grainger continues to close branches, lay off workers, and lose business all in the attempt to become the "Amazon" of MRO and safety products. Customers very worried or angry from the massive changes increasingly shopping elsewhere.

Pros

Freedom in your work day.

Cons

Recently closed 59 branches Tracking you by your work phone Running things the same as in the USA. Does not work in Canada OSSR position you deal with your customers directly, do some selling, but get no comissions, all your hard work goes into the account managers pocket. Training is a joke. No real time with supervisors to learn everything you need to know to perform your job. Bad corporate culture. No where to grow within company from this position
