Pros

Overall pay and compensation Good, strong sales force Sales-focused (for those os us pursuing this career)

Cons

Lack of clear career paths Unprofessionalism as a norm versus an exception Hardworkers unrewarded Too political, need top level connections to move up in organization Lack of visibility to upper management Incompetent mid-upper management No clear vision for company Lack of ANY structure to perform job responsibilities, no uniformity (this is disguised as an opportunity to be an entreprenuer, but it is really a lack of vision and understanding of what to do to be sucessful in your position) No clear structure across the organization

Pros

Higher than average salary for customer service agents on average. Supportive and knowledgeable co-workers. Profit sharing.

Cons

The fact that you must have a "friend" in upper management to "grow" within the company - otherwise there is very little chance of moving up. The unrealistic goals set in place to determine what your annual raise will be (if granted at all). The newly hired pawns.. err.. I mean "managers" that are employeed to spy on ..err.. I mean "monitor" the employees under them. And ofcourse, that overwhelming feeling of being undervalued (just more icing on that industrial-sized cake!).

Pros

The name pretty much speaks for itself... Benefits start on day 1. Excellent Medical/Dental/Vision packages!!! Company vehicle that was very safe & easy to handle on the road, Gas Card, Laptop, Cell phone. You meet a lot of great people in your territory and the territory wasn't too large to handle.

Cons

There is absolutely no balance between work & life. There was no office so if there was an HR issue, good luck on getting the right person on the phone. Not all Territory Sales Managers had the greatest of personalities.... my manager was overall friendly, but when he was upset, had very little professionalism. He had his picks & chooses on who his favorite reps where. They tell you that they don't have time to mico-manage you, but they do: Your vehicle has a tracking device & they monitor what time you leave your house & pull up in your driveway EVERYDAY!! Computer work is very time consuming & you will spend tons of time doing it at home.
