Pros

Grainger does business with customer very fairly. They carry a breadth of products to meet the every changing customer demand monthly.

Cons

Cares about the revenue generation and not the employee welfare. Each month our goals increase some months over 20K more than prior and your left with no reason why and compensation is the same whether your revenue goal is 15K or 100K.

Pros

Excellent Profit Sharing Trust plan Benefits Good Resume Builder Reputable Company

Cons

The pay is well below industry standard, essentially the TSR is a grossly underpaid and micromanaged Account Manager. Grainger expects 15-20 "touches" or client visits per day which is completely unrealistic. Territory is geographically very small and the pressure to open new accounts is endless(even if the potential account is not worth your time). TSR's are judged more on the number of customer visits than their overall sales performance. Promotion opportunites are given on the "buddy system" and are not tied to performance.
