Pros

Higher than average salary for customer service agents on average. Supportive and knowledgeable co-workers. Profit sharing.

Cons

The fact that you must have a "friend" in upper management to "grow" within the company - otherwise there is very little chance of moving up. The unrealistic goals set in place to determine what your annual raise will be (if granted at all). The newly hired pawns.. err.. I mean "managers" that are employeed to spy on ..err.. I mean "monitor" the employees under them. And ofcourse, that overwhelming feeling of being undervalued (just more icing on that industrial-sized cake!).

Pros

Very good compensation compared to other similar jobs. Very good benefits package including medical/dental and a stout profit sharing program that increases with tenure (currently 5 or more years on the job gets you nearly 20% of your salary added to your retirement fund).

Cons

In my district, there is quite a bit of unfair treatment between management/employees. They play favorites in a way that is baffling when it comes to promotions or opportunities for a better position. You can easily be the best person for the job but if the manager has a "friend" who also wants the job, you don't stand a chance. I also don't feel that our senior leadership is steering the company in the right direction at this time. While things are looking good right now, I don't like what the near future might hold.
