Pros

Good pay, some opportunity for advancement within the company. Ample time off provided. Direct managers were usually pretty solid. Good vision from the top.

Cons

Middle management completely unsatisfactory - we would hear that "changes were coming from the top", but no reasons ever given. Basically, they hire anybody at the sales level.

Pros

People are great and build life long relationships. Always referred to as the family run corporation and it feels like it. Pay is solid and benefits are top notch.

Cons

Human resource policies and practices are not the best. Don't call back incoming candidates. It is impossible to terminate incompetent employees without writing performance improvements that rival Tolstoy.
