Pros

Overall, W.W. Grainger is a good place to work. Excellent reputation in the MRO industry. Good company financial stability and industry growth. Company believes that their hourly employees are a valuable asset and truly seek their feedback on how to work smarter.

Cons

Work/Life balance can be a challenge, working 60+ hours per week.

Pros

Good pay. Wonderful benefits. Good people in the branches and at corporate. Solid training programs.

Cons

District and regional management can be completely out of touch and even abusive. Branch employees are stressed with all the requirements and goals with little positive. Western region is awful, the absolute worst of the bunch. Midwest is pretty good. East Cost is varies.

Pros

If you are a professional, this is the place for you. Anyone with experience in this field would do well.

Cons

Culture is based on individual work and enjoying the routine. It is a conservative company, which does not take many risks.
