Pros

– Challenging but rewarding work. - Commission/bonuses are decent.

Cons

Goals based on growth often times are very skewed, or illogical affecting Bonuses offered. Lots of barriers, Hoops, and a “its who you know” attitude seem to be at the forefront when trying to move up in the company. It’s almost as if it would be easier to quit the company, then come back a little later.

Pros

6% 401k match Great healthcare Tuition reimbursement Friendly coworkers Work Life Balance Permanent implementation of hybrid schedule come H2 2022

Cons

Low base pay, about $18 an hr + commission that can be a hit or miss on things out of your control. Your first few months will heavily depend on the performance of the person who had your book of business right before you. Job can be done remotely, no need to return to office let alone in the middle of a pandemic. Especially when we have record profits in the billions that get bragged about at every monthly Townhall. Even more so when there has been no word on adjusting pay for 7.5% inflation in terms of bonuses, hourly raise, etc. Yet the adjustment to protect Grainger profits by increasing product price was enacted. Slow to move up or across into different roles
