Pros

I’ve been with Grainger for 15 years in Inventory Control and Logistics, and it’s honestly been a great experience. The company really invests in its people — great benefits, solid training, and lots of chances to grow. It’s a stable place where hard work gets noticed, and the team environment is strong.

Cons

The work can be fast-paced at times, but you definitely learn a lot and it keeps things interesting.

Great Company With Great People

Pros

Almost 100 year old company that has a really solid foundation of leadership that enables it to consistently beat its competition in servicing the MRO market in North America.

Cons

There has been over a decade of under investment in the technology organization and the current technology leadership team is constantly fighting to modernize and keep pace with the changes in the marketplace. Prioritization of technology initiatives all revolve around a single ERP upgrade which leaves everyone else fighting for scraps to hold together legacy systems that have outlived their useful life.
