Pros

Difficult to see due to erratic behavior of manger.

Cons

The erratic behavior of a current manager is overlooked and minimized. As a female employee with an advanced degree, my input is criticized. HR department does not follow up on concerns when they are express. As a female employee with professional communications skills, I am told I am over reacting, making too much of a situation or being too sensitive....(the 3 go to insults for female employees).

Pros

Good benefits, but they are shrinking every year. The financials of the company are strong. Great people overall across the business.

Cons

Constant change. Management likes to show muscle and inflict change constantly. If they would just keep the good people around and let them do great work G would be better off.

Pros

Good training program. Friendly environment.

Cons

Grainger is not what it used to be. They are ok with being a mediocre employer. They strive for you to be the best, but they dont want to compensate u for being the best. Their health insurance plan has also gotten worse and more expensive. Overall, they keep taking away from the worker bees and don't give much back.
